when first getting the stuff for this tank i spent $40 on a HOB filter and another $40 on the hood and flourescent lighting. i dont need the filter, and the lighting may be inadequate anyways. it sucks spending money and finding out you coulda saved it.

not to mention the money i spent on materials in my failed attempts at a DIY overflow lol
