I am currently mixing IO with Oceanic based on the recommendation of a LFS. The calc is quite high in the Oceanic, and alk a bit lower than IO. Since I'm not Boomer I can't test this very well, but when I test what is going in the tant it has held true. But, the mix is still going in the tank at about 10.9 alk and 420 calc and it ain't doing much to bring the 12+ level down. Did I mention I am impatient? FIRST RULE - PATIENCE I'm sure I will eventually get there just fine, I'm just hoping for a quicker resolution. 6 months from now I'll be complaining cause it won't stay up, you just watch!
