Well I am still in Phoenix but so far things are going well except it is really cold for this Florida girl. There has been snow the last 2 days though not where I am.
I too have a mix of sand and CC and while I think they prefer sand mine seem to be doing just fine. All of mine are in the display ATM. I may take one from the display or buy another one or two for the fuge. Right now I have one small one in the 24g and one large two small in the main display. They have never done anything with my aquascape but my big guy will half burry himself in a place and stay there for days. I have thought he was dead repeatedly only to find him in a new spot the next morning. No I have learned to just let him be unless it gets to a week.
