Not sure about the trickle filter since I have never had one. My fuge is a 29g tank with about 5 inches of aragonite sand. One of tomorrow's projects is to take the live sand and macro out of my overflow and put it in the fuge. So far so good in my case. I have already noticed an increase in my pod population.
oh and sorry guys pics will have to wait till tomorrow since we just put the new purchases into the tank and they are very pouty right now plus the lights are out. |
