Re: Lynn and Frank's saltwater adventure.

Well we tried several at the beginning with absolutely no success. The one we have now was actually given to us by someone tearing down their tank and they were giving everything to someone with a new uncycled tank. I figured he had a better chance in my system than a brand new one. He was very plump when we got him and he does go after the frozen food we feed, but I frequently see him picking off of the rocks and/or substrate. I just added a 20g fuge to the system primarily for him and my scooter blenney and have already seen and increase in pods in the display tank. He is still quite plump and I hope to keep him that way but at least I have given him a fighting chance.
I am a firm believer that they should only be kept in well established aquariums of a decent size preferrably with a fuge. I have seen for myself how difficult they can be and really want this one to thrive.
So far so good.

You can't change the past but you can change how you view it.

A reef tank is like a racecar. The faster you go the harder you crash.
