Several layers of window screen works well to help acclimate your tank to the new better light. Remove a layer at a time to gradually increase the lighting.
Also to get some ideas of what belongs in what category, use the photo gallery. There are categories such as lps, sps etc. That will at least give you some ideas of what corals are in what category.
