humm i dont know maybe its because i use 6x80watt T5's on icecap ballast and my tank is 20" tall. but i have been getting great color and growth even at the bottom. i had to cut back the lighting some what(changed up some bulbs) because it was an over kill. are you guys using the 54watters? or have you tried the 80watters?
