much better...i think the rock is done....I did 1/2 water change last weekend and 1/2 this weekend. I added a lil vinager (8oz) diluted with water ona slow drip to lower ph. Got the idea off an article buy that popular dude..(can't remember his name). You won't believe how hard it was to find an article to LOWER ph instead of raising..lol Ph dropoed .3 and everything instantly looked back to normal. I did however go thru another one of those "new" tank brown cycles if you will....
My lil sun polyps (tubestrea) or whatever are opening again after a week and a half and i finally got to feed them again. I did loose my sand sifting sea star. I now have an aptasia outbreak ( after a month of nothing new go figure) that my peppermints can't seem to keep up with. contained to 1 rock but the same rock my polyps are on. My dragonet (scooter blennie) is happy as hell snacking all over the place. And a general sence of peace falls over everything...
So all in all things are looking good just waiting, saving to buy some MH lighting so i can really kick it into gear... |
