guys, as many of you know, i set up a frag tank in line with my main display last weekend, a 20L tank. i was planning on using an MJ1200 to feed water to it, so i'd have 10x turnover... however, that was too much flow for my bulkhead (3/4"). so i went to a mj600.

two questions...

first is 5x turnover enough? I also have another mj600 in there providing flow for the frags.

second... will my pvc drain/durso design affect flow? right now, I don't even HAVE a durso, i was planning on doing one this weekend. right now i just have a 90 degree elbow off of the bulkhead.

i'd really like to get the 1200 going on this, but i just need a little more info... this whole flow area is definitely my weak spot in figuring things out.
