They will be fine regardless, however there are many stories of clownfish hosting in many different things. The ones that come to mind are leather corals and mushrooms but I know I have heard of many other adopted hosts.
i'm not sure if you already have the maroon(s) but be aware they have a well earned nasty reputation. Be very cautions when introducing new fish into the reef. They may become very agressive and I have had mine severely harrass and even kill new additions. There are precautions you can take but just know it is always a risk.
