I voted 'other'.

For newly set up tanks, ammonia and nitrItes are the most important. Assuming that the tank is cycled completely, rarely are the ammonia and nitrItes an issue.

For established FO tanks, nitrAtes and PH are most important.

For Reef tanks, nitrAtes, calcium, alkalinity, and PH are most important.
