Well I would incorporate the bubble trap partitions, and would make the first area of the buble trap large enough to hlold the "sponge Filter" Without knowing how many gallons will drain back into the sump during a power outage, and the size of the sponge and size of skimmer if there is one, it would be hard to draw a sketch....
