What size tank do you have and what are the dimensions ? Yes people have been having great success with T'5,s but depending on the size of the tank you may need alot of them if you want to keep any light demanding Acro's or Clams. Also keep in mind that the people that use them that I know of replace the bulbs every 6-8 months so the cost could be considerably higher long term then Halides.
