NAUI all day, padi stands for pay and die instantly i took a padi course after i was NAUI cert. and what a difference padi divers dont understand the importance of safety especially the buddy system, i onced dived in cayman with an experienced diver who had never been certified and the fact that i had to leave my decompression stop and go rescue him from riding a bicycle accross the ocean floor (someone had left the bike there at the divesite) caused me to run out of air and i was forced to use his octopuss, in short if you dive padi do some of your own research because i would bet that many of the diving deaths are due to poor certification training just look at the difference in course time two weeks for NAUI or three days for the padi. also get a dive computer diving is extremly dangerous and very rewarding so have a good time but remember safety FIRST |
