I have never used the slime remover but i have had my skimmer go crazy with other products... I usually run some carbon in my skimmer/or a diff. filter and adjust the flow on the skimmer as very slow or slower than usual. HAve you had the skimmer off the whole week? or did it just start to go crazy? Try adjusting the skimmer to see if you can get the skimate to slow down... Someone may chime in here and maybe alot of skimmate is what it needs to do to get the slime remover out of the tank.

Alot of skimmate is not always a bad thing. Just make sure you have some new saltwater made to add back to the tank.
