Re: netting fish

I just trapped a fish ! I built a plain ole box trap out of acrylic scraps. I had to make a few changes in design and it took a while to get the fish used to it but it worked! I kinda copied a trap I saw here. Miss Woodstock posted a good pict somewhere. The acrylic was easiest to work with but I think any larger clear plastic container would work. The trick is to design a trap door that will close quickly and to keep the food in the trap.so the fish have to enter it. Again it takes a while for the fish to get used to the trap. And I bet the fish you want is the last one to enter it! What type of problem fish are you wanting out? Also draining the tank works well and I understand most corals will be ok if exposed for a short while.
