| Re: My NanoCube what i do with my xenia is wait for them to spread onto a nearby peice of rubble and then cut between the two... let it set in the aquarium for a week or so until it looks very nice and healthy and is growing and them bag it and ship it.
depending on where your shipping to/from i would wait for warmer weather.. ship in a WELL insulated package with one handwarmer per gallon.
depending on how far you are from the xenias destination i would plan out a trip to whoever your giving it too and plan some extra stops by their nearby LFS's or any LFS's on the way... that is a part of ANY trip i make now is to find a fish store to visit!
ALSO in the summer (hot) weather, plants, animals, corals are shipped with a ice pack instead of a heat pack |
