Keep in mind that the stocking recommendations are for 1 inch of fish (measured at it's adult size) for each gallon of water. That means your 12 can support 2-3 inches MAX of fish. That leaves you with ONE oscellaris/percula clown, or a goby and pistol shrimp combo, but not much else. Tha nanos, while "cute" just don't allow much room for fishes. Unlsee you really pump up your lights from stock, an anemone won't live long. They need a LOT of light, and the stock lights that come with the nanos just aren't nearly enough.
