Yes I do think they would be sufficient. Please feel free to reconfirm this as I am NOT an expert on lighting, obviously.

From what I read it is 3 to 5 watts of lighting per gallon.

SO at 2 x 96 watts per light you would be within the range at 4 watts plus per gallon.

I want to keep soft and hard corals in my 125 gallon. I need metal halides to support that.
