Low light corals should obviously be kept in the lower parts of the reef, however, unless they were collected in water deeper than 60 to 90 feet they should acclimate to anything if the correct kelvin ratings are given. For example a low light coral should be acclimated to strong lighting with a higher kelvin rating then slowly acclimated to that which you preffer.
