Good for you Mnreefman. Now all you have to do is make sure your flow is set up to keep the detritus in the water column and thus allow it to be removed to you skimmer, feel free to pm me if you need some help along the way.

Woodstock a DSB or any sand substriaght does not have any way to deal with phosphates, it cant sink them and store them like it does with most other things. If you add sulfur based products, it will sink and store them, same with basically everything with the exception of nitrogen based products, which it can off gas under the right circumstances. With Phosphates it will create a animal (bacteria and so on) to vegitation (cyano/haire and so on) cycle.
