I've posted this in the blog on my regular (music) website (as well as my Sea Creatures site) but I kind of have the feeling only the Reef Sanctuary crowd will really appreciate it--or at least appreciate the desire to document the tank---and not think I'm stark-raving-crazy for making a video of a piece of algae-covered rock.

My music fans will appreciate the new music, even if they don't know what to make of the live rock. The desire to make music is something most people understand; the desire to shoot video of a piece of rock submersed in salt water is something only fellow reefers will understand.

The live rock had been in the 2.5 gallon picoreef about 3 weeks when the vid footage was shot.

A Piece Of Fiji 3:27 min, 13 meg. Peter Jackson is in no danger of losing an Oscar to me, nor are any actors or actresses 'cause the Academy Awards don't have a category for Best Performance By An Algae-Covered Rock.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from my picoreef and me.
