My name is Chris. I am glad to be a part of Reef Sanctuary. Well just to tell you a little about myself and my setup. I have just moved and have gotten my tank setup again. Up until now I have a FOWLR tank with a couple mushrooms. I have been running a dual standard light strip. This is actually one of my first questions for you guys. I want to upgrade to compact pc lighting. Does anyone recomend any certain brand of fixture as far as quality, price etc.... Here's my specs 46 gal bowfront, 100lbs liverock, maroon clown, carpenter fairy wrasse, green mandarin, mushrooms, skimmer, and a cleanup crew. My tank has been setup for about 3 years now. I
was looking at upgrading my lighting to 2x96 watt compact pc with lunar lights. This would give me a little more than 4 watts per gal. Does this sound ok? I don't plan on keeping anything reel hardcore in this tank but I don't want to be limited. I am planning a bigger setup for our new family room next spring.
