HOB air-bubbles

heres an old school trick for the HOB overflow...at the top of the U-tube, drill a small hole and glue in a one-way checkvalve. then run some standard air-tubing down to the sump. start a syphon. this will pull any air bubble out and maintain a constant flow.

*Disclaimer*
i say this as my best advice to a beginner. do not,,,and i repeat,,,,,DO NOT look at my tank as an example....i have a well practised eye, decades of experience, and a trunkload of failures to allow me to force the issue and get away with things most cannot~
