Well back in the day I fed my lion live gold fish, now of course that was almost 18 years ago and I have since learned that these live feeders are not the best for the fish anyway. Now frozen brine feeding does not have much nutritional value for the fish either. What you may want to do is get some frozen silversides, thaw one out thoughtly and tempt the lion with it. A pair of reef tongs would work to get the food down close enought to it to get it to feed....
