if the tank is stable, has gone though the algea bloom stage(but you got established sand) then you can try it. one thing about reefing is there isnt a time frame, its ready when its ready.

LOL! Any particular reason for not keeping SPS, just doesn't tickle your fancy? The established sand has definitely helped with the stability of my tank, and the algae blooms have been pretty non-exsistant except for a slight diatom problem in the beginning. Thanks Wit.

Yep I did end up going with the 150s, I figure that with a tank depth of only 20in and the lights being only about 5in. off of the tank that it should still give off the intensity to reach the very bottom of my tank to eventually help clams and SPS thrive.
