stand pics

Like The Master "Mr. DIY" I am not one for lists etc but I usually draw out my ideas before I hit the table saw. Some day I will achieve diy master status and be able to go direct to saw.

My stand is made from 5/4 pine for the frame and structural parts. The legs are glued double 5/4. The stand is totally biscuited w/o any hardware or fasteners except the hinges/ starfish knobs not in the pic.

It houses a Diy acrylic L shaped sump that was put in from the bottom before the tank was put on top. It fills all of the space under the stand except where the gen-x sits to power my diy beckett skimmer.

The sides of the tank and door panels are 1/8 thick pine boards that I had left over from resawing another project.

It was a great project. the first large piece of furniture that I designed by myself.
