Weekly Update:
New pictures of the tank reaquascaped (left, right, full tank shot). We have placed in new power heads as you can see in the picture and the rearrangement of rock is hoped to increase our tank flow. New lights should be in this week (2 36" 250 watt MHs). We are going to hang them from the ceiling with hooks and chains...on a piece of wood.
Tested Ca levels and we are 540ppm. A bit high but I also have the same situtation in my home tank. I have tested the KH at home - 143ppm. We need to get an alkalinity test kit to compare to the Ca levels. (I had to order it).
