Great information Craig, and exactly what I was looking to find out. It is a beautiful clam, but if you recommend to hold off I will take your advice.
I would not want to kill something so beautiful just because of an impulse buy, I want everything that I put into my tank to thrive. Plus, it is doing well where it is now, and I get to see it, and take care of it everyday anyway.
We have been feeding it cyclopeeze, and brine shrimp. When we received it, it was actually only about 2", so he/she's grown in the short time its been with us.
