Sound set ups, I have seen quite a few altered to fit the needs of the aquarist.Mostly flow issuses, lack of enough.Dremmeling the overflows and increasing size or number of powerheads has seemed to do the trick.I have seen some awesome set ups using the cube. My own advice is on a tank that small water changes should take place weekly. In the confines of 12 gallons a lot can go wrong quickly, so having water perameters in check and routine as possible can save you some money in the long run.
What are you thinking about keeping in your nano?Cycles are still 3-5 weeks so sorry to burst your bubble, post some pics of progress.
