Will a 4x39W T5 HO System grow most corals ??

I need lighting for a 65gallon Reef Tank. Deep Blue Professional Solarxtreme T5 H.O. Quad Lamp Light Systemsw/ Moonlight LEDs, 10000K + Actinic
If that will grow most corals I would be ok with it....I was gonna go 6x39 but they got expensive.

How deep is this tank? At 15" I'd say yes it'll grow many. At 24 I'd say shop Craigslist buddy.

That lamp has a very cheap and ineffective reflector. A lot of light waste IMHO.

Lighting has been the worst choice so far. My head hurts tryin to balance price with something that will grow most corals in a 36Lx18Wx24H 65 Gallon. CoralVue 6 Bulb T5/LED Fixture 36" , 7 high power 1 watt LEDs, hanging kit, & legs - AquaCave.com Might be in the price range and have what I need?? My next choices are Sand types and rock...might be just as complicated..

Yea but wouldn't the 6 T5 ho provide more then enough lol The leds are more for Moonlight and daytime shimmer effects. Come to find out it doesn't come with bulbs..would still put me at $400. Around $300 with 4-6 T5 Ho and a few Leds would be nice thou.

If I went with Metal Halides would Odyssea Metal Halide System work? Or can you recommend something...I would like to see some Links for Products that can grow coral in a
65 Gallon 36Lx18Wx24H. Please.

I had seen that eariler today too...good point thanks. I was also thinking AquaticLife HQI Metal Halide Fixtures with T5 HO and Lunar LEDs

Lots know more about lights than I do... investing in quality ones is wise as they support the growth of lots of your corals, one place not to skimp
