What is the best coral reference book?

I am looking to buy a book which provides good information about various corals and how to maintain them. Does anyone have a good recommendation?

I liked the one by Julian Sprung...all the various corals were confusing and overwhelming at the start, and his book helped me figure out what was what...

I actually use both of those books. The Borneman book is much more in depth. But for pictures and a quick reference you can't beat Sprungs book.

Never a bad idea to have more than one reference book. Both are leaders in the field marine biology.

I have both those books. I also like the concientious marine aquarist. It's has a lot about the diffent fish, and tank setup/maintnance. not too much on corals, but I found it a good book.

I totally agree on the Borneman book - definitely my favorite.

A little pricier, but this is an excellent set as well AIMS Bookshop - Corals of the world
