I was wondering if im missing anything to get the maximum growth rate out of all my corals. I've been using aquavitro fuel & ions, lugals iodine, brightwell microbactria, and purple up. been feeding them dr.gs phytonplankton and recently been using coral freezy.

here's a video of my tank. not sure why the camera captured the lighting so blue

Personally I feel that your tank is doing great as is. Corals are fully extended and flow is good. Just keep what you're doing and you should be fine :)

I don't dose anything (my tank is only 9 months old) and my corals are doing very good.
I do my WCs religiously and use IO Reef Crystals. Think I won't need to dose, I hope :fingerx:
Your tank looks GREAT...thanks for sharing the video! Beautiful rock scape

Your tank looks great! From reading online, people who do dose are dosing calcium and magnesium. But, a lot of people just do strict water changes. Don't take my word, i'm just stating what i've seen because i had the same question a few weeks back.

I do a 5 gallon water change about once a week in my 250. The calcium never gets below 450 so I have no need to dose. At least so far. It's amazing how doing small waters changes weekly can keep everything on track.
