Tunze 3155 ATO debacle

Ok i have a tunze ATO 3155 and purchased the PM650 kalkreator , my problem is that the ato pumps RODI into the kalkreator the reactor pumps kal up to my sump even with two air line check valves the kallwasser reactor stills backs up into the RODI reservoir the ato pump in the reservoir pumps up 31in then loops down to my kallwasser reactor and then up about 8in to my sump im at a loss even with 2 check valves on the feed line from the reservoir to the kallwasser reactor it still backs up HELP out of ideas

Check out these possible problem areas.

Are you sure the water from the kalk reactor is actually backing up rather than being siphoned forward into your sump. You may want to change things around here so that the output from the kalk reactor goes in to the overflow in the main display tank, rather than the sump.

Are the check valves actually working. Air line check valved today are of notoriously bad quality. You may need to look for check valves from an industrial supplier.
