I personally like the fx6 ! I have two on my 150
Two hob 2000 set at different draws plus a refugium. The tank has been up for almost 2 years . I just drain the canister and flush it out every other week. I believe that turning water in anyway you can. The problem with sumps is not a big water suppy unless you have the room .
I know that you mix all of what I am saying your water is going to be clear . I only change 10 gallion a week
And every thing stays stable. No carbon or UV !
