Strawberry Conch

Hi everyone. My impulse buying slipped my control today. I bought a strawberry conch for my nano tank. The funny eyeballs got me!
I did do a quick read up and apparently the are good as part of the CUC. My sand bed is quite deep and I need critters to clean it.
Have any of you got one of these as part of your CUC? It's camera shy at the moment- the googly eyes dart back in the shell when I get close.

I'm going to keep an eye on the hermits if in doubt I'll move them to the main tank.

I have a large conch, not sure if it is the same species as yours and he is great. Not seen any problems with my hermits and him. He keeps to himself, is great at cleaning and mixing up the surface layers of sand. He has a lovely 'look' with those eye stalks. As it is so big and moves in a jerky motion he can knock frags around on the sand. As far as I'm concerned a great part of my CUC.

Thanks. It's good to know. One thing is I added another layer of sand before he went in so he may have difficulty getting to his food supply for a bit. I'll add some algae pellets for a few days. I don't want him to go hungry.
