this being my first reef I read as may books as I can and RS every day the books helped me understand what I was seeing on the web, sort out the good infow from the bad.At this point just knew had to have ref. so came
up with plan and started building again
while all this was going on the brute trash can had to go mixing 30gals of ro/di water was just a pain and there had to be better way order some 1/4 arcylic, weldon glue and bunch of bulkheads
one water change system built it works great half is mix tank witch has float switch for ro/di, pump and heater. It holds 40gals 20 measured cup gives you 35ppt. the other half is flow thue from ref. by just turning few valves I can do 40 gal water change in less than 10 min.
gonna skip the good stuff like month of aglee cycle and bring you to date the next pics. are where I'm now still new an learning everyday and must say how much all of you have been of help to me thank you and did I say thank you. I have found new friends here on RS and hope that I can help other people as all you have done for me
