Hello!
I have been a stalker/member of RS for awhile and over the last 5 years had a variety of tanks and moved several times, each time upgrading. Starting with a 25g cube... the last upgrade was too much for me, 150g (48x24x24). The tank wasn't really the issue, but between the economy and my business and home renovations... just too much to handle.
18 months later...All major renovations complete, and my business is booming. Finally have the chance to get back into this...
New Build:
CADLights Artisan II 70G (36 x 24 x 18) - Purchased
CADLights PLS-100 Skimmer - Purchased
CAD Lights Artisan 30g Sump - Purchased
SpectraPure RODI - Purchased
CADLights ATO System - Purchased (Promo with Pre-Order of Tank)
(2) Jebao RW-8 Wavemakers
(2) LED Fixtures - Looking at AI Prime or AI Hydra 26's...
(1) Eheim TruTemp 150w Heater
Other items TBD: Controller, etc... so many new toys.
The goal will be a simple mixed reef. Mainly LPS, Zoas, Mushrooms, with only a few SPS like birds nest. Haven't started on live stock list but will probably keep it pretty small. Clownfish, Jawfish, and ideally an ORA Mandarin.
It's funny how much you can forget after 18 months... so now to start researching all over again.
