Glenn, can you provide some info of LED's? I want to know if I install these in my 130d will I get better looking and healthier corals and also will I be able to keep SPS? I'm thinking of the kit that Turbo98 used from stevieT. I'd reallly like to improve my lighting and care for some SPS corals.
So many know more than me... when it comes to LEDs, I still run the stock RSM 250 T5's, but enjoy reading about LED.
Many members are running them & having great success ! Sure others can advise...

Hello All,
I have purchased the Red Sea Max 130D Dimmable Retrofit Kit. I'm looking to clear up a few questions as I prepare to do this project. For those of you out there that have completed this project, your help and advice along the way would be greatly appreciated. My first question is will I be able to continue to use the exsisting moonlights? It is my assumption that removal of the fluorescent ballast will not affect the driver for the stock moonlight leds. I'm sure I'll have more questions as I get closer to completion, but that's it for now. Thanks to anyone who can help.

I don't have StevesLED on my RSM but the install on my NanoCube was so smooth it didn't seem possible. I HIGHLY suggest anyone looking to get some SUPER easy to install LED at least look into a StevesLED kit. Tell em BigAl sent ya (it might not hurt LOL).
