Red Sea Max c250 with Rapid Led kit

Has anyone done the Rapid Led kit with the c250? I'm just not sure if the hood on the original 250 is the same as the c250. I have contacted Rapid Led and they were not sure, saying that I may have to do some additional mods to get the heatsink to fit properly. Any help would be appreciated!
