Question about having to add salt water

I have a 55 gallon salt water tank with live sand and live rock everysince I started tank I have never had to add salt water levels are always on the borderline high side.

How long have you had the tank set up?
We use "level" to refer to several items in the reef hobby, so the next question is what level or levels are we talking about?

Topoff (evaporation) you don't use sw (you use plain ro/di), you remove sw & add new sw to replace elements the corals use up and to export waste.
