im in the process of assembling a cuc for my 75 reef in progress and i was wondering what a good mix of snails would be, i know i dont want hermit crabs so i would need a good variety of snailes for the sand rock and glass, i have about 90lbs of lr and a sand bed ranging from 1in to 4in depending on which way the current is blowing,im not being over run with algae but i have a lil of hair/cyano and i want to keep it under control, my filtration is a asm g3and a algae scrubber with some macro tossed into the bargin :whstlr:

I have a 75 and so far I have:

30 Cerith and 10 nerite snails for diatoms, algae, cyano and detritus

3 large turbo snails for hair algae

12 Nassarius snails for sand

12 red leg hermits

4 peppermint shrimp

and sand stirring starfish

I didn't think I wanted hermits at first, but they are alot smaller then freshwater hermits and kinda entertaining. Is there a reason you don't want them?
