So I have been able to catch the two bluestars in the tank abs they are now in an acclimation box and I released the one mentioned above into the display. So far so good, no one is chasing her. My plan is to let her get acclimated to the tank and then release one of the originals at a time with the hopes they all work it out.

Does that sound like a good approach? Anyone have experience doing it another way? Really hoping to have a trio

Figured I’d add a few updates. Tank has hit its stride and things are stabilizing nicely. I have mostly all equipment running that I want but I’m still considering adding a kalk reactor.

I just added about 30 sps frags, 2 acantrophyllia and a wilsoni. Removed two large torches, a kwazulu wrasses that was chasing everything and sadly I took out my CBB as well. He picks on everything and I want to get a clam and save the expensive acantrophyllia!!

Sorry about the need to re-home your CBB, better to keep the reef thriving though. Did you get all those new frags from Battle again?

hope to see some frag pics soon! :)

Let’s see if she lives. Switched to instant ocean from tropic marin so hopefully I see better results in the tank. You see the bad batch problems people are talking about from the Turkey plant?

So far so good as of today. She’s really centering around her base and the “flaps of the carpet” look healthy and have some stickiness to them! Day 4 of cipro
