Pictures with blue lights

I have the Kessil A150, it brings out so much beauty in my corals. I just took some pictures to show people that want to buy locally, and they are not looking to well. Is it the blue light that is making the pictures bad or is it me?

Acttually, i don't think the color is the issue. I've seen and taken nice photos with the blue (actinic?) lighting. Some corals seem to look better under such color lighting. I think the problem here is due to camera shake caused by low light and perhaps your camera not being able to photograph well in such low light conditions.

try a few things;
- stabilize the camera better to prevent camera shake.
- manually focus (if available on your camera)
- up the lighting in the tank (which may mean turning on your white lights).

good luck

I do not have white lights. The Kessil A150 is a straight blue LED grow light. It's pretty bright too, I might turn on all the lights in my apartment and see what I can do. I will keep you guys updated with pictures
