New tank going up with Hawaiian Red Shrimp/Brackish

Hi all,
I am new to the forum. I am also fairly new to salt-about 4 years now. I had a 90 gallon bowfront but sold it and now have 3 small salt tanks.
I am starting a brackish using the fluval m40. I wont be using some standard equipment such as a skimmer or heater.
My question is does anyone else have the Opae Ula shrimp set up and if they are using an all in one is there any issue as to the flow being too intense?
I currently have had them set up approximately a year in a regular 10 gallon with a air pump but it is not very nice to look at and now that they have multiplied to many more, I want to display them.
