Has been struck by the ban stick
Hello Everyone!
Well just wanted to let all those who have been so patiently waiting for my new 60 gallon cube to be up and running will not see it happening for some time now.
I think one of the bulkheads is stripped as I can not get a loc-line to go it and another one as well will not accept the loc-line..
The hole for the drain to the sump has the 2 x 4 center brace in the way and of coarse I tried to cut away a portion of it and totally messed that up I think.
So I got completed frustrated and put everything away and at this point may try to hire the LFS owner to plumb it but at $45 an hour it is spendy but considering my DIY skills may be the better option.
Taking all the LR back to the LFS tomorrow so as not have that lying around and will start with new LR when and if this tank is up and running.
Of coarse finding out a good friend and co-worker got diagnosed with cancer last week and my diabetes giving me problems has just compounded the situation somewhat but not making excuses but the facts of life.
What I have learned out of this is there is more to life than a reef tank and it has opened my eyes to that vary fact...Anyway wanted to let ya all know and it may still get up and running but not in the immediate future...Thanks for reading! Johnny
