Are MJ's the only pumps that are cabable of being modified successfully?

they are the most reliable PH and easiest to modify.

When I first heard of this prop mod I did it to one of my Marineland 660 and 1120 PH's. I made the cages myself not the pre-made ones.

I've seen mods for just about every pump out there ...but the mjs are by far the most modded...I guess it has alot to do with how inexpensive they are!

on a german forum I saw a modded Red Dragon pump that was turned into a power head, can you imagine messing with an $900 pump that way!!
