MH question

I have ran Aqua Medic Pendants for a long time now. Just replaced the bulbs today (Hamilton 14k) and the two bulbs are totally different colors. Is my ballast going out or do I have a defective bulb? The ballast is a dual electronic ballast. Couldn't tell you if it was doing anything like this before because I was running a 10k with a 14k. I have switched sockets and no change in the result (not reversed or anything).

This photo is without any flash. I think it shows up. Blue on left, white on right?

PS - Both colors look fine, but I'm thinking since they are the same they should match.

With 14k and 20k MH bulbs, it may take a few days to a week for them to burn in and you see the true color of the bulbs. Give it a week and see how they are then, but if by switching them and the problem did not move it looks to be ballast related.

I didn't switch the bulbs, just the plugs they connect to. They are both ran on the same ballast though so I don't know if it is possible for a ballast to run 2 bulbs differently. I guess that is the real question.
