Longhorn Cowfish Bacterial Infection?

Hi, so I had my longhorn cowfish so few months now and just recently, I have noticed under his mouth, his skin was being eaten away by something. I'm thinking its some type of bacterial infection. I have been feeding it some antibacterial frozen foods, it looked to have been getting better but just this morning, it started getting worse again. If anyone has experienced something like this or know what this might be, please let me know what this may be and or how to help him. Thanks

I had a Blue Throated Trigger that had some form of infection around it's mouth. The infection resulted in large white lumps that disfigured the mouth.
I bought some Seachem Kanaplex. I mixed it in with the frozen food, and fed the tank. It's just so difficult to try and catch a fish in the DT, so I decided to treat everyone. The thinking behind this is that it also gives all the other fish a bio-boost, as we don't know if the infection is contagious.
Glad to say, the white lumps cleared up completely, and the Trigger is back to his handsome self again ! No corals or invertebrates were affected by the Kanaplex.
