Larval Rearing Setup

I have been in and out of the hobby due to moving over the last 6-7 years. I now have been in a home for about 1.5 years and have acquired several pair of clowns and gobies with the goal to raise marine fish. The gobies are supposed to be easy and I will start with them. Next fry from the gobies are expected on March 19th. I raised one clutch of fry in 1998 but nothing since.
I am semi-retired and spent a lot of time doing research on how to best raise fry. I explored the formal research and even bought several papers and based much of what I did on this research.
My system is a BRT attached to a 50 gal. sump and skimmer. It has a central standpipe and filter, but otherwise the surface of the tub is bare. Heating is done from the outside. Because of the very slow turnover rates the sump has a separate heater.
